It seems that there is a problem with the corporate web servers at CPB, Inc. I could not access either the corporate site or the FAQ site (which is hosted off of the same server). I called the Sys Admin at home and I am waiting for a response. At this point I don''t have an ETA. I will post as soon as I know that the site is up again.

The administrator has the server up and running again for now, but apparently there is something wrong with the hardware on our HP server. We might have periodic outages until the replacement parts are installed. If you don''t get a response from the FAQ page you will know why - not that people were exactly rushing to the page in droves = )

This has not been my week...

Yesterday we moved from an IDSN line to a corporate ADSL line, and our Internet connection has been down ever since. Our ISP is working on the problem and we have moved back to the ISDN line until the situation is resolved. You may encounter difficulties accessing the FAQ until the move to ADSL is complete and stable.

I realize that the FAQ is not the most widely used Java resource on the Internet, but I did make a commitment to maintain it and I will do my best to make sure it is available.
