Is there a good terrain rendering program with OpenGL or Direct3D out there? I know the D3D Fog sample in DX 6.0 SDK was good one but at that time I was new to D3D and OGL, but now, I got DX 7, and the Fog sample is changed to MFC Fog, and that thing has no rendering of terrain.
A sample, or better yet a tutorial would be helpful.
P.S. I looked at druid's OpenGL Journal's sample. That sample doesn't work, number 1. Secondly, I tried it by doing it over myself and doesn't work either.
Any help would be really helpful and appreciated.
