Hi all, Could you please test my demo application? It is my 2D side scroller engine and I want to see if it works on different systems. For now, the demo requires at least support for ARB vertex programs. This is a very simple demo, you can only walk from left to right in the world (carefull not to run to far to the left or the right, there is no bound check at the moment :P). Moving is done with the arrow keys. Thanks in advance! Download clicky

Well it works ok. I got about 200 fps.
great lighting and bumpmapping. i assume you will improve the sprites.

average 500 fps
when you do something right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.

Heh.. I sincerely hope so, but I am no artist. So, once uppon a time there might be a cry for help on the other help forum :-)

Thanks for trying it!

Nice with bumpmapping. But the torches aren't emitting any light!

Around 1400 fps
