2D Fighting Engine
Hi, I''m looking to find out what path I should take if I plan on developing a 2D fighting Engine. I already herd enough crap about how hard it is and how long it takes, so I want to know what''s the best source of information or whatever so I can get started now.
I''m currently taking C and C++ and I plan to go to Digi-Pen next fall so I''ll years to work on it. What specific things should I look out for or keep in mind? Even better, where the heck do I start? I just know how I want it to be. I have desgined and laided the how thing out from a logical point of view but now what lol.
Any help on this will be greatly appricitaed.

Don''t listen to that idiot above, most people on this site will respond without arrogance.
If you go to the main GameDev page, there is a reference section on the left with several good articles under it.
Also check out the links section for many good programming sites.
