Texture Mapping for Stupid Idiots

This has been troubling me for a while. All I simply need to know is how to texture map a four sided polygon. I have tons of code showing this but the polygon has four equal sides or they were using vertical scanlines (god forbid). I am working with a rectangular polygon that I am rotating 360 degrees. The rotation part is complete, just need some good code for filling the sucker in. Oh an please - I am feeling very stupid right now so please please please comment the hell out of anything you send.
