Hey Jwalsh, thanks for doing this workshop. Sorry I couldn't participate more, but school got in the way. I have a question. When VS 2008 is released next year, will this workshop still be compatble with it? Will VS08 be an addition to 05, or a completely new program that wont be compatible with anything learned previously?

All signs point to Visual C# 2008 being able to compile everything that 2005 could. So all the source examples and such will be usable. However, 2008 will introduce new language constructs so what was covered in the workshop won't be a complete coverage of the 2008 features, but what was covered should still be a fair overview of the basics.

Ah, thanks. So it shouldnt be hard to transition from one to the other?

I haven't used the 2008 beta extensively, but I'm not aware of any major issues you'd have transitioning.
