For the past few weeks I've been working on a
3d version of my draughts game, but I've run
into a problem which I can't seem to solve..
I have to map a circular texture onto a cylindrical
surface (eg. a stone).. I've tried many things,
even let 3DMAX determine the U and V's.. but
nothing seems to change the way the texture looks..
what am I doing wrong ? The texture is just badly
aligned on the stone.. changing the U and V
manually has no effect what so ever on its
Cylindrical texture mapping in D3D IM
