The two function both can make an ambient, an diffuse or a specular propertiy,but what''s the difference between their propertiy set such as ambient? have any one got an idea? jerry2 jerry2

glLightModel.(..) can only be used for ambient + not diffuseor specular. it gives a global ambient colour to every lit vertice/polygon in the scene. ie it doesnt come from any light

i see.then that means it''s "true" environment light,because the light have no direction and position.is it ture?
