From what I read in the news it wasn't clear if the culprits were angry militia types or angry Mexican drug gangs. Either way, trying to blow up a police station is crazy - and the heat of summer is still a long ways off.

I live near the downtown area, and yeah, it's pretty cool. I'd LOVE to live in Del Mar or La Jolla, but I don't have that kind of money, at least not now that I'm paying child support :)
I haven't been playing Robot Unicorn, but every day at lunch, my team gets together and plays games and shares funny websites/videos we've found. We were on an Erasure video kick recently. I don't remember their videos being funny at the time, but they're *hilarious* now.
Watching Lost while not studying for final exams and making a halfhearted attempt at what's required to get a multiplayer game on XBLA.
