I think I will get myself Nehe''s OpenGL Game Programming book, but I have problems getting OpenGL apps to work on my system... I''m running Windows Millenium and my graphics card is a Riva TNT2... Drivers are updated and I found some file called OpenGL Setup or something (for Windows 95)... All that happens whenever I try to start a program is that my system freeze... What files do I need to get OpenGL to work properly? And where can I fine these files? Buying the book would be a waste of money if my I can''t run the samples...

First of all download the newest version of GLSetup (its a rather large program). Second of all, try to download some other programs that use OpenGL (preferably using the GLUT so you can see if its just NeHe''s window code, or if its OGL all together).

And last but not least, its Kevin Hawkins and Dave Astle''s book... Not NeHes.

I am having nearly the same problem, however, I have asked for a free replacement CD because mine was defective (It had no source code and Direct X 8 didn''t work and I don''t think OGL worked either!) I am recieving a free CD in 7-8 work days.
