2D background behind a 3D world
Is there any way through which we can make a continus background definately a 2D behind 3D objects.
could always try glDrawPixels the the screen b4 straight after u have cleared ure screen

Turn off depth writes, draw a textured quad in ortho mode, switch back to perspective mode, and turn depth writes back on.

At the beginning of the frame, go into orthographic mode, and render the background (turning depth testing off), that should be what you need.
