I use directx and I would like to play module music or something similar in a game. Could I use DirectMusic and DLS midis to play my own instruments or should I use some module player made for DirectX use? I guess that shouldn't be slower than DirectMusic since it uses software wavetable as default driver.

Is there any utility to convert modules of some format into DLS midis?
