Hello everyone...again. Well after I have loaded my ship onto the screen, they appear to be dark orange. Also, black is not copied to the screen, but I assume that that is because the default color key for a BOB (from Mr. Lamothe''s book) is 0. Yet my ship is grey when I look at it with Paint Shop Pro. Do any of you know why it turns orange? Thanks.

It could be becouse your using less memory for color depth
I don''t know for shure , but I do know that if you load an 32 bit
.bmp ( or another image file ) but your window is set to 16 or 8
bit color depth the compiuter will try to find the "closest" color that resembles the original one.....
Again , I don''t know for shure but , this could be it.
