This site automatically assigns ''Unregistered heretic'' for unregistered users. Word Heretic has been used to justify kill people whose belief is different from catholic. So ''heretic'' sounds '' kill Jew''.

How about "Anonymous Coward"?

C''mon...Heretic was used to kill a whole *lot* of people besides Jews (Jews, incidently, were seldom actually called "heretics", that word being reserved for people who were thought to have at one time been a part of the faith and have now "fallen"). There were the French Huguenots as well as a lot of other Protestant faiths. And even before then, the "pagans" (who didn''t call themselves that) were whipped up on for the same reason.

"Heretic" isn''t, however, a derogative only used by Catholics/Christians. It''s pretty much universally used in religious circles of all shapes and sizes to describe whoever they deem to be the enemy.

Hope this helps clear the air a bit.

Anonymous posters certainly aren''t the enemy though. Hmm, we need a name that doesn''t sound noble, but still describes the user as Anonymous.

A heretic by definition is someone who does not follow the accepted beliefs. It does not specify one group.

Funny, I don''t see anonymous heretic as kill jew...
Anyway, how about "One of the Meek"? :)

I think "anonymous coward" is insulting to the people who post without registering. Sure, you want to coax them into registering, but don''t put them down. Plus, how are we supposed to tell apart all the Anonymous Coward''s? Just let them use their own username and give them the title of "unregistered". period. no heretic or coward.
