How do you programme sounds *.wav,*.mod,*.midi etc etc I cant find out how to do this anywhere all I find is documents on the sturucture of sound cards or stuff on Directsound. I use watcom C/C++ and I would like to now how I can program sound specifically for DOS (note:allegro isnt compatiable with watcom) Can some one please help me!

You need to convert wave files to PCM format and send it to the card. And midi, I am not entirely sure...

THOUGH just becase allegro is not compatable with Wacom does not mean that it cannot be of a valueable resource. Take a look at the source, I am sure it will answer your question with a little bit of work.
