I'm looking for a way to make a draggable, skinnable border. Basically something like a div or table border which I can style however I want, but that I can move around like a frame border. Think Windows Explorer and you'll get my drift.

As far as I can tell this should be possible using JavaScript. Is this correct?

Yes, this is possible with JavaScript. MooTools can make this pretty easy with its Drag.Move class.

Or if you prefer jQuery like me, you may have a look at UI Draggable (check examples on the right)

There is probably bazillions of other third party jQuery plugins, same with other frameworks
