Does any one have the wisdom concerning 3D model format restrictions and copyrights? .md3 and half-life''s .mdl are pretty popular - but what are the restriction for using them? Are we free to use up to a commercial level without penalty, or perhaps just in free ware applications etc Any help or advice would be apprecated, Thanks, Dachande

A format is always in public domain (although, they don''t have to help you use it, but in the case of MD3, it''s pretty open). The tools to create them or code to load them isn''t always freely usable though.
