Can anybody tell me how to morph textures, because I need morphin'' in me engine. Picture this: Theres a dude in the street suddenly he morphs to a pile o''shit So please please help me, help meee!

It sounds more like you want to morph a bunch of vertex locations... Which isn''t nearly as hard as morphing textures, though, all textures are attached to vertices, so to ''morph'' them, you just have to move the vertices. :D

as the knight saiz u want to morph the vertices.
u have 2 models.
a dude + a pile of shit, they contain the same number of vertices.
loop through all the vertices going using a weight from 0..1

invweight = 1.0 - weight
for ( all verts)
drawvert[x] = vertdude*weight + vertshit*invweight

now draw the drawverts.
if u start of with weight at 1 and slowly decrese it to zero then the dude will slowly transform into shit.

btw this uses linear interpolation perhaps u will want someit else

I just saw this site on these boards yesterday. It mainly referrs to morphing terrain, but it goes into a good explanation of morphing vs fading one model into another.

If his guy and his pile of shit contain the same amount of vertices then either his guy is a block man or his pile of shit is a smooth, ultra-realistic representation of feces that doesn''t deserve that amount of detail.

Try figuring out how to morph between objects with a different amount of vertices.
