What I posted wasn't a wild tangent, nor did it end with a personal attack. Just as you came to the conclusion in regards to my maturity level, I came to a conclusion in regards to his experience in Game Development. I was simply correcting his baseless assumptions, and it is hypocritical for you to judge me on that alone.

It was not my intention to come off as hostile, but I apologize if that were the case. I just wanted to point out the error of his ways, in hopes that he doesn't repeat the mistake of over-generalizing.

No hard feelings I hope.

Fair enough. Something that you will learn as you progress with your career is tact. Sometimes tone is hard to figure out just from words. But those same words are the only thing that other people have to go on most of the time. If I took your post as hostile when it wasn't intended that way then I'm probably not the only one. This thread is your gateway to getting help so you want it to be as positive as possible to get good people to join. "Less is better" is a rule to live by.

I looked at your site and it looks like you are making some good progress. You've got much more done then the usual post around here. I hope you can get your game finished.

Oh definitely!

I didn't realize that the tone that I was emanating was a negative one, thus was the reason I attempted to tone it down.

I appreciate your kind remarks and words of wisdom :)

*Updated

We welcome 3 new members to the team!

Dario - The Junior Programmer

Jeremiah - The Game's Composer

and

Blair - The Sprite Artist

The team's Sound Designer has essentially fallen off radar.

This is to be expected with volunteer work, but is unfortunate nonetheless.
*Updated

-Added art

-Updated Available positions

Please understand that all applicants in relation to the Lead Artist position will be required to adhere to the style that Blair has set in place, and must have some sort of evidence of skill.

This is for continuity's sake.
Still looking for artists!

Animation is not required for the Sprite Artist position (But is preferred), however it is required for the Lead Artist position.

*The Sprite Artist will mainly be working in Tile Art and Environment Art such as rocks, trees, and shrubbery.

Feel free to ask any questions!
Some staff changes have been made and we no longer are in need of a Lead Artist.

We are, however, still seeking a Sprite Artist!
Some more staff arrangements have been made, another Sprite was added, and we're pretty close to a full team.

All we need left is another Sprite Artist and we should be set throughout the rest of development!

We hope to start a video DevLog series shortly, so we'll keep you updated.
We are still searching for Sprite Artists!

In fact, we need them now more than ever! Our single (lonely ;___;) artist is having trouble keeping up with our Technical team's progress speed.

Anyone with the ability to create monsters, environment art, tiles, or even icons, just shoot me a message!
Still looking for a Sprite artist.

Are people just not interested, or are skilled Sprite Artists hard to come by?

Hopefully I didn't do anything to scare you away ^ ^
Many, many changes have been made, and progress has propelled us into an entirely different scope!

Check out everything in the OP.

It's quite a different game than when it started!
Yuck, the links for the images were broken.

Hopefully I fixed it.

Sorry about that!
