Project name:

Aieslum: The Cairo Roses, the game will have sequels, so a long term crew would be of most convenience.


Brief description:
Aieslum is a Linear-style platformer in which the player can choose how he or she advances from one point to the other, whether it be in a 2-d Shooter fashion (Think Megaman), or in a "beat em up" fashion. The game's mechanics can be further discussed through PM or an IM service.
i feel it necessary to point out that I've worked on this game's concept for the past 12 years.



Target aim:
Start off small, make it freeware. When we move on to the sequels, as our skills improve, we can start charging for those through Steam or retail.

Compensation:
Fame. And if necessary, payment. The amount of payment can be discussed through PM or an IM service.

Technology:
I need more C++ Programmers to assist me with my other programmer. A few other artists that can do work like this: http://hecterian.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4j1j77 would help.

Talent needed:
Sprite artists and Programmers. Programmers must know c++.

Team structure:
Thus far there is only three of us, one being a payed conceptual artist. Myself being a writer/designer. I feel the need to point out that I have little knowledge when it comes to programming (Bio major), though, hence whey I need a crew.

Previous Work by Team:
We've made allot of artistic "collabs". However none of them have been video game related, other than their concept.

Additional Info:
As stated previously I've been working on the game's concept for over a decade. I know how to build the game, but I dont have the building blocks to built said game. Considering That my soon to be Major is in Biology. I want to start something that will leave our audience breathless. I want to give the players a fun, challenging experience with an interesting story line. However I cannot do this by myself.

I have many pieces of concept art, and text documents explaining the game mechanics.

I have the game envisioned within me, however putting it on the screen is the difficult part.
Lend me your help, and it will be well worth it.

Looks very interested.
I'm a software developer myself with my own 2d engine (cross platform on windows, ios and android), but I'm mostly concentrating on ios these days as there seems to be the best option for publishing your work and make some form of profit.
