Problem with Dates

Hello everyone, I'm currently trying to fit a set of daily stock-quotes data using cern-root libraries, the problem is that the points are non equispaced and I must fit a great numbers of points (about 4000).
Data is formatted this way (.csv file):

Date, Open Val, Highest Val, Close
dd/mm/yyyy, ......
dd/mm/yyyy, ......
.......
.......
.......
EOF


I've got no problem with accessing and parsing the file but need some help handling the gap between some of the dates since the axis (TAxis class) spreads automatically once you give it a time offset.
