Hi I think the stats are a cool thing, but i think they make guys post any shit, too . If you''re not going to tell what the ranks mean (I''ve read this in another forum not long ago), you should take the TOP 25 POSTERS list out, as well. I was watching myself looking for any topic i could post some **** to. (Oh my god - I''m no longer on the 18th place)

I''m working on a FAQ containing the various user levels, as well as some other things. Also, we encourage people to actively participate in the forums, but strongly discourage posting just to increase your post count, and the staff and moderators should delete posts that are obviously made for that purpose.
To add my opinions to the mix, I think that the poster rankings are kinda neat, but they shouldnt be any kind of goal. Really they just gauge how long/much youve been participating, that doesnt mean your participation is necessarily better if you post more, especially if its just to increase the total number of posts.

As for the Top 25, we thought it would be a nice way to show who has been active on the sites, in the future we''ve talked about adding quality markings to posts, so good posts could be ranked, thereby giving out stars to people who help out a lot, which isnt based on quantity, but on quality.
