Well, I have a bunch of scripts written in Ruby, and somehow I need C or C++ interpret this code to run it. I've never done this kind of task before, so I feel kinda lost. Anyone can guide me and recommend the proper tutorials, books or websites so I can make a good start?

Thank you and have a great week-end!

you want to embed ruby in c++ as i understand.

not a simple task. but doable.

use http://www.swig.org/ or http://rice.rubyforge.org/

rice seems more mature, at first glance that is (wrapping syntax is more intuitive).

I am totaly lost of termine Ruby. From what I have known so far it is a runable application. But I do not see how it is provided computer recognized data. Possibbly only through command line. I am messing up memory of multiple thread in one process and I thnik this is perfect solution. If Ruby script made you confirm to strcit c++ routine, compile, on VS2005, VS6.0, CodeBlocks.... (I recoomend compiler targeted for the OS)
