I'm quite excited. Although this has made me realize we need better engines for Linux as well. I've been working on one for a while myself but in order to truly insensitive people to write for Linux also we need better tools in general. We need to create an open source standard as other open source engines start to age. They all have had their merits but we really need to push this forward. I'm trying to recruit a team to do just this and though it's a long project, I think with an open source community we can really push this thing far! http://www.gamedev.net/classifieds/item/610-its-time-ramp-up-open-source-engine-development/
