I have a statement like: A sweep query sweeps a shape from a given point along a given direction, and collisions with scene objects are reported.
PxGeometry geometry = ...; // [in] Geometry of object to check for sweep
Can someone tell me what does "sweep" mean? I tried to translate it,but it has nothing to do with game development....

"Sweep" is what you would do with a big brush in order to tidy up leaves (for example). In the same way, an object might sweep through space in order to hit objects (though not necessarily tidy them up )
