New Slender Man Game Idea (James Allen Elementary)

I've recently been really into Slender Man lately ever since playing the game Slender; I've learned a lot about him and even watched a good amount of the marblehornets' videos. I'm here to throw out the idea of a new Slender game.

The plot of my game is about the nameless main character, who is always in first person perspective, visiting an old elementary school of his that he can't seem to stop dreaming about, despite not being able to remember anything about it. His parents refused to talk about it, but with them dead now, he visits the school hoping to finally get some answers.

A big thing I want in the game is a lot of scary/ creepy scenes only noticeable if the player is looking at a certain area at a certain time. These events will happen whether the player sees them or not. Just to add the feeling of Slender always watching you.

The game is in a FPS perspective but there will be no guns only a flashlight and some tools to use to get into certain areas and/ or escape Slender Man.

Here are just some ideas I have for the game:

~Now the plot still needs work but one element I have is the story of Sarah Lynn. The player can learn of her by reading her psyche profile in the guidance counselor's office. She is a poor girl who was bullied because of her down syndrome.

But here's the bread and butter and this is all me. By finding out Sarah's class room through her psyche profile you can go there and find her desk. When you open it you find pictures she drew of her and Slender. After looking at the pictures when the player looks at the doorway there will be Slender Man standing there. He will then start walking towards the player. (Remember the only light is the player's flashlight) Now the player can do either two things.

~Turn and run away from Slender. When they turn back he'll be gone.

~Try to run at or around Slender (or not move at all and wait for Slender to walk up to them) Slender will then grab the player with his tentacle and lift them into the air. He'll then slowly lift his hand and and reach out to grab the player. (At this point the player dropped their flashlight and its rolling around on the floor causing a freaky looking effect.) Right when Slender is about to touch you the screen goes black and you wake up on the floor as if nothing happened. However, the flashlight is still on the ground rolled away as if it did.

~ A part where the player is walking, but slowly realizes that there is a second set of foot steps coming from behind them. If they try to run these footsteps also begin running, but when the player turns around there's nothing there and the footsteps stop.

~ A part just like this:



~ Parts where the player looks behind them, or to the side of them, and Slender Man is either:

A.) seen very quickly going off screen very similar to this video:

C.) seen on all fours crawl away backwards fading away into the dark.

This is only a recent idea so I'm still thinking of more stuff, but I'm working on some concept art. Tell me what you think about it so far and if you have any ideas yourselves. Posted Image
