Hi,

Can anyone recommend a resource for me to learn how to effectively do this?

Only 7 images will be visible at once.

I think you need to explain more. Tell us the requirements you have of the application, and maybe we can help with design ideas.

Given the current question, I recommend that you use a photo viewer application, for example "Windows photo viewer". But as you post the question on the OpenGL forum, you probably have some other requirements.
