Are there any books on 2D graphics programming which use OpenGL? I''m more interseted in writing 2D games than 3D games, and want to learn OpenGL. Trouble is every book I''ve looked at so far only has 3D example code. Would be nice with code examples in 2D.
I doubt there are any 2D specific books for OGL out there, but it''s real easy and you can use most of the 3D example code and techniques from the books you already have to program in 2D. The best example of 2D OGL programing that I have ever seen is on NeHe''s website it''s Tutorial 21. Check it out.
