I am new to the world of 3d programming in Direct X. I have a 3d space with a model of a spinning planet and the model of a ship that I have successfully loaded. I want to figure out how to give the player the ability to move the ship in any direction that that choose. Anyone know a good place that I could do some reading or if someone has some well-documented code snippets? I would greatly appreciate it. I am excited to get my feet wet in Direct X.
