Solid Walls
How do you make a solid brush like in Quake? The way in NeHe''s tutorials seem to be what I call "Empty" objects... But will that work in making water?
uh, i read it wrong.
to make "solid" walls as you put it, you get a cube and stretch it to the correct dimentions. simple. for more complex shapes, all you have to do is make sure that every polygon edge is connected to another. that way the walls wont seem flat. oh, and with water, you use the same solid wall technique, but you change the collision detection code to allow the user to pass though it, although very slowely. program in swimming how you like
