[game of thought]

I wanted to know what ide to use, and also a tutorial that you consider very good. Bare in mind that i have to put it all on a very small memory stick (128mb), plus i won't have internet connection with it. I currently using borland c 2.01(old i know) with dosbox. Is this a good idea or is there a better alternative?

Don't use DOS or really old compilers. Install some Linux distribution, gcc and emacs (substitute your favorite text editor), and you'll have everything you need.

Linux, gcc and vim.
It is all you need really. Use man -a <c command> to get the manual page of it.

Get a bigger memory stick, you can get an 8gb stick for basically free these days. Then install a bootable Linux as suggested in tgis thread. On 128mb... not so much.

I got an 8gb memory stick for £8 and thats relatively expensive
