Hello community,

I'm a new member here and just starting out in game programming. I've been programming for about the past 10 years in mostly web and business applications so I'm fairly experienced in a variety of languages. Recently I saw a post somewhere (may have been this forum, but I can't find it now!) that listed a bunch of games that a beginner game programmer should try to clone in order to eventually attain the most common skills required to develop a solid game. Some of the games listed if I remember correctly were pong, tic-tac-toe, pac-man... They were all listed in the order of difficulty. The article also explained what developing each game would teach you. Does anyone know the article I'm talking about? Can you please post a link here?

Maybe this is the thread you saw? It's a bit old, but a likely candidate.

All glory be to the Man at the right hand... On David's throne the King will reign, and the Government will rest upon His shoulders. All the earth will see the salvation of God.
