hello friends well I was just wondering how would i publish my android game or app once its done . so I go to https://play.google.com/apps/publish/signup?dev_acc=13412862969195223195 then what do I need ? a paypal account? I dont know very well how all that works . once I had a bank account but closed it I remember I had to deposit like a certain amount of money in order to be on a banking plan so what is paypal? Im lost .....
You need to pay Google a $25 fee to sign up. You also need to pay Google for listing your app.
You will need a Google Merchant account. They will charge a small fee for each transaction.
You will need a financial account (bank, credit union, etc.) with a major credit card tied to it in order to send and receive money. You might also need tax ID numbers depending on where you live.
I don't think PayPal is involved anywhere in the process.

FYI you only need a merchant account if you want to charge for you app or include any form of in app billing. Free apps don't need a merchant account. Also you don't need to pay to have you app listed. You can pay to have appear in the admob ad network or any other advertising network but appearing the market is free once you've paid the one time registration fee.
