I've seen a game development course at university, but I've heard for game companies don't really take notice of these degrees. But they do take notice computer science degrees. Is this true? Will I better of with taking a CS course? Or a game development course? Here's the course I've seen: www.shu.ac/prospectus/course/720/
Sorry if the link doesn't work, I'm doing this from my phone

If you want to be a game programmer, you should get a CS degree. Have you read this forum's FAQs yet? (If not, please do.)
