this is my first time creating a video game and i have some basic questions. first off, my animator is animating the character using flash.

1. with my flash created creators, can i use them to make a game on xbox using XNA?
2. do the flash characters need to be in a sprite sheet to be used on XNA?

1. No, unless you can somehow export the characters from Flash. AFAIK, there is no technology that allows you to do it directly.
2. Sprite sheet is one of the ways to go, but it has many limitations, the most apparent one being that you can (unless you cut the sprites into parts) play only one animation at a time. That means no morphing of animations (e.g. legs doing some action while hands doing another).
