I have a problem, so i created a QuadTree but when i try to load a heightmap only the first LOD-Level is fine:
But when i come closer, and the LOD-Level increase the Level, i get some ugly "Stairs"
The Heightmap is created with LibNoise.XNA but it's the same with a Heightmap Generated in Photoshop.
The Height is set in the VertexShader.
The Size is 1024x1024.
Anybody can help me?
What Should i do to get a nice smooth Terrain?
