Hi,
I'm working my way through learning shaders in d3d9, now I found out that up till now 99% of my setrenderstate calls are not needed anymore.
What do you think about using setrenderstate functions "versus" doing in the vertex shaders?
(performance wise maybe a mix can be better?)
Just curious on how you see it, maybe my opinion on this will differ when I'm further with developming my engine.
