I went ahead and added the first forrest battle background with the main characters in their positions. Hopefully this helps! I'm going to work on the players and enemy coloring and saturation as soon as I can.

Got tons of work to do on the main city. XD

@TheFriend: I personally think your characters need shadows, at least one dark value. Also, the red girl is out of place, so to speak. Either leave the hair red and change the cloths color OR change the hair color and leave the "armor" red.
