Hi,
Is there a way to edit the subject of a post without ruining the contents of the topic?
I often run into this because i like to mark them as 'solved' to prevent time wasting and keeping them there as reference for future use.

marking as solved is not advised here, as leaving a topic open for a potential better/different solution's is what GD strives for.

Do not mark threads "answered" or "solved" in any way.
although it doesn't seem that link is anywhere in the for beginners forum anymore.
