How long does the site take to update posts?

I've noticed that posts take quite a while to update. When I reply to an existing thread or when someone replies to a thread of mine, the only way to know for sure that a reply was made is to open the thread. Otherwise, it can take several minutes for the forum list, "My Content" list or Interesting topics list to show any changes. Refreshing the browser does nothing.

How long is this time delay?

I don't know the answer to your question directly, but the thread updates immediately, as do the notifications if you are subscribed to the thread.

(and you can auto-subscribe to all threads you post in, via an option in your profile settings)
