We get it. We use ad blockers too. But GameDev.net needs to display ads in order to continue to be a great platform for you.
Please whitelist GameDev.net. We take safe browsing seriously and review our ads on a regular basis.
Also consider a GDNet+ subscription to remove bulk/3rd party ads.

The Visual Studio suite does not support Lua,Perl and python. But that does not stop you from using it as IDE which you can use for Custom Project.

Visual Studio also has a "shell" version which lets people support other programming languages. For example, http://pytools.codeplex.com/ is an extension written for Python.
I don't know if Lua or Perl have equivalents, but it's possible.
