I want a very basic, long-lasting and flexible setup to make 3D games.
- good Java, C# and OOP concepts
- basic C++ and MIPS assembly
- basic XNA functions (vertex buffers, effect passes, etc.)
- linear algebra and calculus
From some research this looks like a pretty good set up: Visual C++, OpenGL, SDL
Should I go ahead with this or is there a better option?
