My (most recent) top moment for "mind = blown" was this Monday when I learned that Donald Knuth pronounces his last name "kuh-nooth" and not "nooth". Shattered my universe.

When I learned that the whole culture, language and everything inherits from Hungarians, and that Hungarians already invented everything but the evil Jews want to take over the world and Hungarians come from Sirius and and.... whatever.
It took a while to de-learn all these crap (my Hungarism lasted about 2 years) but my mind was definitely blown when I heard these things in a beautiful summer evening walking around in the beautiful down-town of Budapest.

dunno about top, but this one is relatively recent.
I didn't watch the video, but the thumbnail looks like a discovery channel show that was aired a few weeks backs, if it's the one and same, it really was mind-opening for just what goes on in a cell.

Certain secret paths in the original Sonic games. Yes, I'm looking at you, platform in Labyrinth zone 1 that only appears after pressing a switch. Yes, I'm also looking at you, path in Chemical Plant zone 2 that lets you skip the rising water part.
Don't pay much attention to "the hedgehog" in my nick, it's just because "Sik" was already taken =/ By the way, Sik is pronounced like seek, not like sick.
