I'm not sure why, but I can't post in the AngelScript subforum.

I am planning to switch from Lua to AngelScript in a week or so, and not being able to post in that subforum would make it difficult for me to ask questions.

Any ideas?

What does 'Join this group' do?

... curious.

The slowsort algorithm is a perfect illustration of the multiply and surrender paradigm, which is perhaps the single most important paradigm in the development of reluctant algorithms. The basic multiply and surrender strategy consists in replacing the problem at hand by two or more subproblems, each slightly simpler than the original, and continue multiplying subproblems and subsubproblems recursively in this fashion as long as possible. At some point the subproblems will all become so simple that their solution can no longer be postponed, and we will have to surrender. Experience shows that, in most cases, by the time this point is reached the total work will be substantially higher than what could have been wasted by a more direct approach.

I actually cannot post in any affiliate or workshop forum. For example, I can't post in "NeHe Productions" or "Events for Gamers" either.

Everything else, with the exception of Image of the Day, I can post in.

I wonder if this is related to the 'Marketplace Seller' usergroup from having paid and free content in the marketplace.

(Which, incidentally, doesn't show up under "My Content", but is definitely in the marketplace)

I get free GDNet+ membership from that usergroup - though I haven't actually generated much revenue for GD.net to make it worthwhile to you.

Is this still the case?

Nope, it seems completely fixed. Thank you very much!
