So have we unofficially brought back the Showcase? Or is the old Showcase separate from the new Showcase the Staff was planning on?

No idea. I really should have not used the term showcase but rather leant more to the museum aspect in my initial post I guess.

Too late now. You've let Pandora out of the box! :D

The old showcase is separate from the new case. Also having been around for almost 14 years we have a huge number of programmers who have worked on AAA titles as well as some pretty high profile indie developers. We've had a number of developers presently in industry who started out wet behind the ears with us way back in the day. Actually a large number of our moderators work in the industry right now.

Actually it would be interesting if those programmers were listed. Something like: GameDev "produced" these guys (X, Y, Z...). And they produced these games (A, B, C....). That would be as impressive as the old Showcase, if not more.

But then again, I know that a good number of industry developers don't want their business out there. If a list of some sort were made, it would obviously have to be voluntarily.

And with all that said, I glad the old Showcase is back :)

The old showcase is back? It is the functional equivalent of an abandoned ghost town at the moment =P
