Hi, I developed a tool for creating sprite sheets from 3D models. Please look at it. If you find the tool is useful I will continue to develop it and add more features. The tool is here: http://elfgems.com

You can import a model in fbx format to 3DMax and then export it to Ogre3D format. Also you can try a direct converter http://www.ogre3d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=71332 (I cannot recommend as have not tried it). If model does not have animations you will get a single sprite sheet. Plan is to provide wizards which will help to build sprite sheets from different models (multiple animations in single sheet, multiple static model sprites in single sheet).

That's really neat; thanks for making it available!
It's perfectly fine to abbreviate my username to 'Servant' or 'SotL' rather than copy+pasting it all the time.
