Question about blend indices, trying to use them into a different mesh

Hii am thinking about the possibility of insert a new human face mesh into a game that i known its format. i am able to insert new meshes.

Now i want to insert a new humanface model diferent from the original, with my knowledge i know i can insert this model regardless it has a diferent number of vertex and faces. the main problem i see is that the original model animations will not affect in the same way to my new model and i want to ask if knowing blendidices and blendweights of the original model could be used to fit animations to the model i want to insert.
