Where should I put a thread?

Alright, I was planning on starting two threads today. One of them is a gameplay mechanics thread on damage types and melee calculations, and I know where it goes. The other is a setting-related thread loosely related to it, an IU Article about melee weapons and their proper usage in a setting dominated by ranged weapons. I'm not totally sure where that goes or even if it should indeed be separate. Should I just merge them together? If not, then where should I put the IU article?

Well the IU Article sounds like a Game Design article. So I would put it the Game Design forum or the Lounge.

Thank you, sir. I'll put it there, I'm sure if it's not placed right the mods will move it.

It's up. Does it still look to be in the right place? Because I'm not sure it does.

I've moved it to Writing for games. In future, just go with your best instinct, you don't have to ask first.

Thanks. I'll put any future articles there.
