Hi everybody,

As a passionate 2D game artist, I recently started a blog about game design, art and animation, featuring art tutorials and resources for game designers and programmers:
http://2dee-art.blogspot.com

  • Design tutorials

There are already 2 free interface design tutorials covering basic elements (a shiny button and an health/mana orb) including free source files for the vector graphics software Inkscape.
The tutorials will lead to the creation of complete game-ready user interfaces for RPGs, adventures, and much more.

A small preview of the basic tutorials contained so far:

You can subscribe to the feed and/or just regularly visit http://2dee-art.blogspot.com if you are interested in more tutorials, game art and animated characters.
If you like my art, please tell your friends about it, share the link on facebook and let me know what you would like to see in future updates.

Keep making awesome games!

Thank you,

Dennis

Thank you, I didn't notice that.
There was a gadget of a blog directory, probably causing this error.
I removed it, so please let me know if it works for you now.

New 2D game assets available!

For more diversity in the stock of indie game assets available on my blog (2dee-art.blogspot.com), I have created a pack of animated soldier toons.

Features of the Jungle Troops:

  • 5 new characters
  • 4 different sizes
  • 18 animations including
  • two individual firing animations with special effects

Every soldier has a different weapon, so they can be used in almost any kind of shooting/fighting game, sidescroller, platformer, tactical combat game, role playing game or whatever your game is!

Visit 2dee-art.blogspot.com for more information, previews of the animations and more 2D game art!
If you need individual indie game art, contact me via PM or e-mail: 2dgameart@gmail.com.

Great work!.
