Sorry if this is not the right section.

So I came across a screen shot today that got my atention (I have seen that game before some time ago in an engine comunity that I frequent the foruns). The game is seems really cool and the kind of style of gameplay and graphics that I like.

I wanted to leave a coment or send some PM to find more about the game and congratulate the team, but I found no way in the page to do so. Is there anyway I can find who posted it and enter in contact with him/her?

Thanks in advance.

Screenshots are submitted via twitter by tweeting the hashtag #screenshotsaturday with a link to the screenshot. When you are playing the game, the content of the tweet appears as a comic-like text bubble adjacent to the shot. When viewing the shots from the library, the tweet content is displayed below the image. This content includes the twitter handle of the submitter.

So there is actually no need for the poster to have an GD.net account? Well, I will see what I can find on twitter.

Thanks for the reply.

There are some changes planned for the future that might result in more of them being actual GDNet content.

One thing to note is that screenshot showdown entries come from the #screenshotsaturday twitter hashtag, but it doesn't mean that the user who posted them isn't a gamedev.net member.   If you are a gamedev.net member who signed in once through twitter (or added your twitter account by editing your profile) your screenshots should automatically be assigned to you.   I made it so that it checks to see if your twitter id matches one held by a local member.

While there will be increased ways for members to share their own projects here directly, for indie developers regular promotion and your own PR is everything.. so use every resource at your disposal to promote your project including #screenshotsaturday

I want to down the road make it easy to quickly assign any screenshots of yours picked up through #screenshotsaturday to an existing game/project you post.   That way if you do like the direction a project is going you can also see full project details and follow what the developer is doing.
